At about the half-way mark of the South Jetty behind the Surf Statue there is a lone red boulder peaking up among all the others. It seems kind of odd that it's there, but if you stand at the wall and look closely you can see it. I photographed this in the early morning in the hopes of catching a colorful sunrise but it was overcast, so I came home with this dramatic-looking photo instead.
