Tower One, on the Silver Strand between Coronado and Imperial Beach, is one of the few mobile lifeguard towers that never moves; it stays in this spot, tucked in between two dunes, across from the entrance to the Cays. What really catches my interest is how the grains of sand create eroding patterns on the backside of the dunes.
