The light was just right when I took this photo: clear water, blue skies, a setting sun illuminating the buildings on the pier… The Crystal Pier is one of two wooden piers in San Diego County (Imperial Beach Pier is the other). Located in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego, Crystal Pier is the only pier that I’m aware of that has hotel rooms actually on the pier itself.
