This unofficial entrance to the infamous Tijuana Sloughs is at the end of Seacoast Drive in Imperial Beach. The views from here are magnificent: Mexico to the south; the ocean to the west; the Coastal Mountains to the east; and of course the Tijuana Estuary and the Tijuana Sloughs. This entranceway offers access to several miles of usually uninhabited beach all the way to the Tijuana River.
